Well, I always knew I was immature...

I've never been fond of acting my age--and apparently my tastes in reading match this inclination. First it was Harry Potter, then the Inheritance Cycle (Eragon, Eldest, etc.), and now Twilight--all book series aimed at teens or children, and all series I've come to love. Twilight is my most recent obsession--and I've only read the first one so far, so no spoiler messages about what happens next please!

Anyway, if you don't know what I'm talking about but want to, or if you're already a fan and want to indulge, you're invited to check out my Twilight page on squidoo (with a spoiler-free review and some other fun stuff).

Oh--and Allie Mae (who is developing quite the crush, no matter how many times I warn her he's already taken) has asked me to request everyone send good thoughts to Lux as he continues to heal from his tooth removal (Allie had one of those several years ago, so she's sympathizing big time)

12 bits of commenty goodness:

My mom sounds a bit like you..she read Anne McCaffrey's stuff for 31 years before she found out, via a very snarky review, that her stuff was meant for teens! Whodathunk? She's read the first 3 of that series and will prolly go to the movie with The English Major, who turned her on to it in the first place..they're book buddies!

Oh, Allie Mae, I so appreciate your asking everyone to send me good thoughts. (You know, I don't think Lucky will mind that you have a crush on me.)

You're so sweet. :)

I read a lot of "Young Adult" books too - along with "Old Adult" books :)

One of my favorite book series is the Earthsea Trilogy by Ursula K. LeGuin (although I can't figure out how these got classified as Young Adult in the first place!)

I like animal-related books that are often aimed for a younger audience so I'm in the same club too I guess..I hope too that Lux gets well real soon..

Woooooo look at all of these kitty gatos on this commentary page. I love kitties! Hi Ms. Purr Prints. I thought I would check out your site, and let me tell you you have exquisite taste. The jewelry is incredible!

Just an update on having prints made of my art. I'm in the process right now of finding someone that can do it for me. Thanks to you and others I am very motivated to pursue that avenue.

When I get it set up I'll mention it in a post. Take care, and enjoy your wonderful life with all of these kitties.....

Ok Ms. Purr Print....(I like that name) I will be happy to accomodate. I'll send you the specifics when I get that info.......Do you know I love this one too. I could picture that very same painting on a large 30"x40" canvas. I usually work on 22"x30", and I plan on going to 30"x40". Primitive meets Modern is a beautiful miniature. Take care...

I've been hearing a lot about that Twillight book and now movie since I guess some of it was filmed around our area with local actors. I think it's time I checked into it and see what it's all about!

I fell in love with the Harry Potter series. Now I am a computeraholic with no time to read!
